Various Types Of Meta Tags : Which Makes Effect On SEO For Your Site

In my last Hub I told you about what is Meta tag And Why we should use Meta Tag on a Webpage ? But that hub I had not enough Time to describe about Various Types of Meta Tags. So I could not describe properly about all Meta tag. Now I will tell you about different Kinds of Meta Tag which you should use in your web page. Meta Tag is an important thinks in SEO I mean on site or on page SEO. I noticed that there are many people who used Meta Tag but they don’t know the appropriate uses of Those Meta Tag. They only use that Meta tag which they get in normal article. But I don’t tell you that my article is the best but I will try to give you that knowledge about Meta Tag which will be so effective to all. The more important Meta Tags are discussed below in detail. So let’s start….

Basically I found in many articles that The Title Tag is not a Meta Tag. On the other hand in view of the fact that it’s a very essential Tag. In this consideration it is indispensable to describe it here. The Title Tag is an HTML code with the purpose of showing the words that come into view at top position in the title bar of your browser. On the other hand this Tag is not displayed everywhere on the page. It is these words or phrase which appears as the title of your page in the hyperlink listings on the search engine results.

The users generally click on this hyperlink to set out to your website from Search Engine Results Page (SERP). For that reason, the consequence of the Title Tag is apparent as all search engines apply the Title Tag to get together information about your site.

The Meta Description Tag is a HTML Tag which is used in a webpage that allows you to present a little and little summary of your web page content. The words are frequently used in the SERP under the Title. In the Search Engine Results Pages, after interpretation the Title of the page, a user goes from beginning to end the description of the page and decides whether she wants to go to your site or not. This tag is not only used for search engine spiders. Keep your most essential terms at the starting of each description Meta tag declaration and attempt to contain a dissimilar applicable statement for every page of your web site. Be cautious not to do again term too often to avoid rankings being penalized. So you have to create such a description Meta tag that not only is effective to robots and human also.

I read many articles where they wrote that Most of the search engines do not read the Meta Keywords Tag anymore. So I always say that SE can’t understand Meta Keywords. In the interior of a keyword Meta tag should be a comma alienated list of relevant words as your web page for the search engines to crawl your page. These expressions should reproduce your site's most significant theme. Be cautious not to repeat the same keyword too often - 3 occurrences is a safe standard and this includes word variations. Some of Search engines recognize it heavy recurrence to be "spamming the index". And also do not use that words which are not relevant to your site.

The Meta Robots Tag (Please See the above image for details about Meta Robot) gives the command to SE spider or Robot to index or crawl page or follow the links appearing on that page. On the other hand if you are already using detailed robots.txt file to block any specific indexing there need not use Meta Robots tag. The Different commands used under Meta Robots Tag are following:

• Index: allows the spider to index that page.
• Noindex: instructs the spider not to index the page.
• Follow: instructs the spider to follow the links from that page
  and index them.
• Nofollow: instructs the spider not to follow links from that
  page for indexing.
